MONIQUE MARIAN
Monique Marian is a Jamaican-born, Tokyo-based international vocalist, producer, and live entertainer known for her powerhouse vocals, magnetic stage presence, and genre-crossing performances that blend Soul, Disco, Reggae, Jazz, R&B, Pop, and Caribbean influences.
With nearly two decades in Japan’s entertainment industry, Monique has built a multifaceted global career spanning luxury cruise ships, concert stages, jazz lounges, television, nightlife venues, and international cultural events across Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean.
She first gained recognition in Japan through appearances on the hit television program Nodojiman Za World and later expanded her career as a backing vocalist for major Japanese artists including EXILE, Yazawa Eikichi, and Hagiwara Kenichi.
As a recording artist, Monique released multiple projects including the Japanese-language album Love Songs: Sweet J Ballads along with English releases Singles Collection and Mo’ Love from Monique. Her artistry reflects both her Jamaican roots and her international musical journey, creating performances that feel soulful, elegant, energetic, and deeply personal.
Today, Monique is internationally recognized as a featured Guest Entertainer for leading international cruise lines , where she performs headliner cabaret and high-energy live shows for audiences from around the world.
In addition to performing, Monique is the founder of SugarCane Productions Tokyo, producing live concerts, nightlife experiences, networking events, and cultural showcases in Tokyo. She is also the creator of the growing live music series Soul Sista-Tokyo, known for blending live bands, dance-floor energy, storytelling, and timeless music into unforgettable audience experiences.
